The Hurdles are a pop/rock duo formed in 2025 in the Pacific Northwest. The group consists of Tony Smiley (guitar, vocals) and Jeffrey Turner (drums). The Hurdles have hit the ground running with a full set of high energy original music and a show driven by a mix of live instruments and backing tracks, merging their musical talent to present a big sound and feel that is dynamic and captivating. The Hurdles released the singles 'Shotgun Ghostrider' and ‘The Middle of Summer’ in early 2025 and they are releasing the EP ‘The Middle of Summer’ in October 2025. Their first full length record will be released in the Spring of 2026.
